Under the supervision of Sheikh Abdelilah Al-Omrani, Director of the Islamic Institute Darelhuda in Amsterdam, the Islamic Institute Darelhuda in Amsterdam organizes the Fourth Edition of the International Competition for the Recitation and Tajwīd of the Holy Qur’an for the year 1447–2026, to be held online (remotely).
It is a global competition organized with the contribution of people of goodness and some donor organizations. Competitors from various parts of the world participate by registering their information and then uploading video recordings of their recitations in accordance with the announced conditions. Specialized judges evaluate the recitation and performance according to the established criteria.
* Encouraging the recitation and proper chanting of the Holy Qur’an
* Highlighting the efforts of the Islamic Institute Darelhuda in caring for the Holy Qur’an through recitation, memorization, and Tajwīd
* Strengthening the Institute’s efforts in the fields of education and upbringing
📌 Participation Conditions:
✅ Age: 18 years and above
✅ Video duration: Between 2 and 3 minutes
✅ During the recording, the following must be stated: Name, age, country, and recitation style (Riwayah)

- The candidate records a recitation video (audio and video) with a duration of between one and two minutes, and sends it via WhatsApp.
- The video must include, before the recitation, the candidate’s full name, age, and country.
- The video should be recorded in landscape mode (cinematic format), with clear audio and video quality and an appropriate background.
- The committee approves the participation and informs the contestant of qualification to the next stage.
- Announcing the qualified participants for the semi-final stage through the competition’s official social media pages.
- Publishing the qualified entries on the official social media pages to be subject to voting and likes by viewers.
- Announcing the qualified participants for the final stage.
- Qualified participants are required to submit new recitation videos under the same previously mentioned conditions.
-The jury committee evaluates the new videos and announces the nominees for the closing ceremony.
- -Announcing the date of participation of the qualified contestants in the live closing ceremony.
-Announcing the winners of the competition through the official social media pages.
